How do the Carmelites of Mary Ever Virgin live community?

The Carmelites of Mary Ever Virgin follow the Rule of Saint Albert which prescribes solitude and silence while at the same time laying the foundation for a strong community life.

Each day the Sisters together celebrate Holy Mass, chant the hours of the Divine Office, eat their meals, and recreate. Each week the Sisters together discuss their spiritual welfare. All that a Sister has belongs to the community, and all that she needs she receives from the community.

By her fidelity to the observance of Carmelite life, each supports the other's journey in a quiet but powerful way.
